Ryan's 6th Birthday

Ryan was so excited for his birthday this year. He counted down the days until he would be "6!"

He got to take a poster about himself to show his class at school.
He asked for an excavator cake this year. I haven't attempted a tractor before so it was a little tricky.
We aren't going to celebrate his birthday with cousins and other family members for a few more days, but Nana and Grandpa came over and he got to open the presents from us.

He was so excited because this year he got a brand new bike and helmet. He had far out grown his bike and needed a bigger one pretty bad.

We sure love this kid to death!  Happy Birthday Buddy!

Kyrie's 8th birthday!

This year we let Kyrie have a friend birthday party and she wanted the theme to be Despicable Me. So I came up with a few ideas that might be fun for her party.
I made a minion cake with both the good and evil minions on it.
Then I made a piƱata to look like the fluffy unicorn from the show.

The kids played "Pin the goggles on the minion."
                                                          We had evil minion bowling.
I made party hats, gift bags, and cups to look like minions too.
They shot and knocked over the alien spaceship with marshmallow guns.

They watched the mini movies on the Despicable Me DVD.

Her 8 year old stats:
Weight:  37 lbs. 2 oz.
Height: 44 inches

We love this girl to death and can't believe she's already 8! Where did the time go?

Snow!

The kids have had so much fun this year playing in the snow. Well....with the couple decent storms we have gotten. We didn't get much snow last winter in Philly and this year they are getting hammered.

Luke shoveled all the snow from the driveway onto the pile from the snowplow and made the kids an awesome hill to sled down.

Kyrie's Baptism

On the 1st of March Kyrie was baptized! She has been looking forward to this day for a long time and we are so happy that she chose to be baptized and become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

                                                              She loves her daddy!
She got a fun baptism towel from my mother in law, Kathy.
This is Grandma and Grandpa Wayment with Kyrie before the baptism.
Brand new member of the church! She got to go for a special shopping trip with Grandma Wayment to get her beautiful white dress.

This is Kyrie and aunt Chantel.

Kyrie's aunt Paige and cousin Jovie.
Kyrie got a very nice set of scriptures from her Nana and Grandpa Lawrence. She loves them and is so excited they even have her name of them.

This is Kyrie's aunt Paige, cousin Jovie, uncle Jeff, grandma Wayment, and daddy!

I didn't get pictures of everyone that came to Kyrie's baptism. My mom wasn't feeling well and my sister Melissa's family was in recovery mode, so they needed to leave after the baptism. Also my Grandpa Francom and aunt Lisa's family were there. I need to record that mostly for my sake.
The baptism went really well and I am so happy Kyrie made the decision to be baptized. A special thanks to everyone that helped make her day so special. We love you all!
