Luke didn't have to go in for his a couple of weeks ago for his but I was not so lucky. I drove down to center city since the train would have cost almost as much as is was to park. I must say that without the Utah mountains to guide me I get so turned around. I started walking in the wrong direction until I realized my mistake and asked one the the dozens of cops around there which way to go. After filling out paper work and watching a video they split most of us into groups of 40. Then they escorted us across the street to a court room in City Hall. To make a long story short I was number 39 of 40 and by the time they got to me it was after 3:00 p.m. and I think they probably had the jury picked. When it was finally my turn the lawyers in the case asked me if there was any reason why I couldn't do a 6 day medical malpractice case. I simply told them it would be really difficult to find a babysitter for all those days. They looked at their papers and then said I could go. What a relief! It was a pain to go down there and spend $20 to park when we only get $9 in return but I got to see the Christmas Village at City Hall and Reading Terminal Market for the first time on our lunch break. I bought some yummy Amish treats and walked around the Christmas Village to pass the time. It was annoying process but I am glad I got the chance to see some new things. The Wayment Family

Snow wonderful snow!
Even as I write this post, the snow is covering everything outside. It is the first snow of the year and I confess I didn't think we would get much. The kids are loving watching it out the window and Luke took them outside to "touch" it. Ryan even gave it his famous "OOOOOOhhhhh!" Only the Christmas tree and lights has got that.
It has been such a nice relaxing day. The only thing we had today was Kyrie's dance class. She is having such a fun time dancing and playing with her friends. She looks so cute learning the dance steps. I think they will have a rehearsal in April to show off what they have learned. Here she is dancing with a couple of her friends. I couldn't get them all in the picture at once.
It is such a nice day compared to yesterday. Luke had the kids the whole day all by himself. I was summoned to jury duty.

Oh the snow... what do I say? Does your melt? Ours has not melted one tiny bit. I am wondering if it is finally here to stay for the winter. Probably! I am so glad you got out of being on a jury. You need a break from stress! And I love how excited Kyrie and Ryan were over the snow. I can't wait to see you guys!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! How wonderful that you got snow. You got snow this same week last year when we were there ( : Kyrie looks so cute in her little dance outfit! And I agree with Melissa, I'm so glad you didn't get stuck as a jurer where you have to do the 6 day trail! Whew.
