Another first

Luke has a very long day today at school so I decided to try my hand at a cake with fondant frosting. I have been wanting to do it for a long time and with Luke being gone until after 10:00 pm tonight it was the perfect opportunity to experiment. I must say it was a lot of work and I made a HUGE mess with powdered sugar. I wanted to do something different than I ended up doing mostly do to the work. I didn't want to make more fondant so I changed my plan. I wish the pictures would have turned out better. The colors are actually a bright, light and dark purple. It was the colors Kyrie wanted. I was pretty impressed with the taste of the fondant recipe. Especially because I heard from everyone it doesn't taste all that good. Anyway, I plan on trying again to get it better, but at least now I know what I am getting my self into.
