I am getting ready for Kyrie's birthday. I have decided to make her a Cinderella carriage pinata and a pillow to hold a glass slipper for her cake. I am also making Ryan a new quilt for when we move him to a toddler bed later this year. I am trying to keep myself busy with projects so I don't get as home sick. The only problem is I can only do them while the kids are sleeping so that I don't get to much extra "help."
Luke is staying plenty busy with school. We just found out that he was able to stay out of the rotation lottery that decides which hospitals you go to for rotations. That means he will stay somewhat close and will not have to leave us for 6 to 8 weeks at a time. Hooray!
I thought I would include this funny picture of Ryan being a cowboy/construction worker/knight. He actually loves wearing that stuff.

Oh poor Ryan! I sure hope he gets better soon. And good for you being a proactive Mommy and looking out for Kyrie's health. I am glad you found a doctor you work well with. That is so important!
As for projects to keep you from getting homesick- do play dates count? We should get together some time. Especially once it warms up. I have a (large for Philly) fenced yard and a blow up kiddie pool. It'll be fun!
I am soo sorry someone in your family keeps getting that yucky bug! That is horrible! I am so happy that your new pediatrician is better and is actually doing something. No 3/4 year old girl should have to deal with what she's had to go through. I can't wait to see pictures of your projects. So take them! and horray for Luke! I was so worried if he was going to have to go away for rotations since you have no family there to help. That is excellent news!
Well you have some good news there... with a little bad news of Ryan being sick. I hope this new ped. get's Kyrie's bladder infections under control. Poor girl has been miserable! I can't believe how many projects you can take on!! You are amazing! I hope that it can help to keep you from being homesick. And good news with Luke and rotations! Every little bit of good news helps!
Poor kids! They're too cute to deserve feeling sick! I hope they get well soon! And I can't wait to see pictures of the projects your working on, once their done. You're so talented!
