Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
We started celebrating the day by making these cute clover headbands. The kids always like to make crafts and color pictures. Ryan is especially fond of hats for some reason. I can't believe how big they are getting.
Then yesterday I made this cake for a Relief Society party last night. The first one I tried was a complete flop and I had to start over from scratch. It didn't turn out as well as I wanted it to but I didn't have the time or equipment to do better.
While I was covered in powered sugar my OB doctor called with the results of my ultrasounds. He said they had found the IUD and if I came in he would take it out free of charge. That was great since my insurance hasn't kicked in yet and it has been a costly process. I went in to the doctor and left with yet another disappointment. He tried so hard to find it and once again could not. He said this is only the second time he hasn't been able to get an IUD out. Our next step is to wait until my insurance kicks in and then go back in with a scope. The doctor thinks it may have perforated the uterine wall. I never would have guessed that it would be such a pain. We normally would just leave it since we are not trying to get pregnant but it has been bothering me for over a year. I hope we can get it taken care of soon. I still haven't heard from Kyrie's doctor about her results so I think I will call later today.

Oh my goodness. I am sorry you are having such a hard time. I wish I lived closer and could help you out. You are an amazing inspiration to me and I hope you know how special you are. I know it doesn't help you or solve your problems, but I pray for you guys all the time and I really hope things work out fast for you. Keep us updated on you and Kyrie.

And the cake is AWESOME!!! I love it! You do have some talent no matter what you say! And the kids look so happy in their St. Patty's day stuff. You are an amazing Mom and always have some fun things for them. THey are lucky to have you!

Mom called me last night and told me about your appointment. I am so sorry Amy. We are praying that it gets taken care of asap with as little pain as possible. I wish I was there to give you a hug. But consider yourself hugged ( :

I also think that cake is way awesome! You go girl! I love how creative you are with your kids. We aren't doing anything fun this year except green dinner since Parker is sick.

You made a whole other cake? You know what Laura said, no apologizing for the amazing cake because it was just that.

ouch! I'm so sorry to hear about your IUD. There have been 3 nurses here who had to have the same thing done within the past year. I wish you luck! By the way I love your craftiness. It inspires me!

Love the cake!! How crazy! I didn't even know an IUD could disappear like that. I'm glad he didn't charge you for that day though.
