Egg coloring

After the kids had naps it was time for coloring eggs. It was interesting this year with Ryan. Before we even started Ryan dumped a glass of Vinegar on him. Thank goodness the dye wasn't in it yet. Then he crushed an egg while coloring it. At least I think that is how it happened. Who knows? I gave him a spoon the get the eggs out of the cups and he proceeded to "taste" the liquid a number of times. The vinegar couldn't have tasted good, not to mention it probably wasn't good for him.

At least neither kid dumped the cups of dye.

Don't you just love the outfit Ryan has on? Gotta love shorts with cowboy boots. His choice I assure you.

The kit I bought had stuff to decorate the eggs after they were dry. Unfortunately Ryan was not able to do this part since it was messy enough with just Kyrie. The eggs turned out pretty cute in the end, even if our kitchen was a mess.

After we cleaned up a little bit we went for a nice Spring walk. The weather has been so nice the last few days we just had to enjoy. We saw pretty flowers and blossoms along with a few of our friendly neighborhood squirrels.
