Girl's Night Out

I always love a girl's night out, but out of all these lovely ladies in this picture, only two besides me will still be around at the end of the summer. Most of their spouses are finished with their schooling or they are going to move back home while their husbands are in rotations. The sad part is this isn't all of the families moving. I can think of at least 4 others that are moving or have moved. To say our ward is going to take a hit is an understatement. Not to mention a good chunk of my friends are going away. To say good-by to Lindsay, our second to go, we went to Nifty Fifty's for a girls night. It is always fun to get together and have a good time. I hope more people are planning on moving in to fill some of the holes left behind. I will still have some friends living here and all I can say is, thank goodness for that.

I have been so bad at blogging lately. I just have got caught up with life and don't get many chances to blog. We have been keeping busy here. Mother's Day was a great day! It was so much better than the week before and I am so happy it was. Besides having to speak in Sacrament Meeting, the day was wonderful. The kids were actually very good for a change. I laughed really hard when I went to pick up Ryan from nursery and he was sound asleep. Then after lunch the kids went down for naps and actually slept. Ryan slept his usual hour and a half, but Kyrie slept a record three hours. Luke and I actually got to watch a whole movie during the day. Everything else was nice and I found that I really enjoyed Mother's Day this year.
Luke's boards are this Thursday. He has worked hard to prepare for this test but we could use all the prayers we can get. The test is 8 hours long and they even fingerprint them to make sure they are who they say. Crazy. He then starts his Pediatric rotation on Monday. We are hoping to get a little relaxing in this weekend before he gets crazy busy again.
We are getting a new oven this Thursday. After being without one for over a week, I am beginning to run out of meal ideas. The landlords have been really good about taking care of problems that come up. We haven't had many but it is nice to know that we have good landlords.
In fact we are also getting a new roof. I don't know when yet, but that should be interesting.

I forgot to tell the 2 best mom's in the world a,
Happy Mother's Day!
Thank you to my mom and Luke's mom for being the best mother's ever. Thank you for all you do for us!!

So happy you got have a GNO, but wish it was for better reasons! I hope you are doing Ok and I am glad to hear at least a couple girls are staying around.

Glad to hear your Mother's Day went better than your birthday did. I hope it was a great and restful day for you all around. Thanks for sharing everything with us!

Yay for finally getting a new oven. I have no idea how you've gone that long without one.
How fun to get out with the girls! I am sorry most of them will be leaving you. I certainly also hope that more will be moving in.

Our prayers are with Luke for his test, and with your family that you can all adjust well once rotations begin.
