My little cowboy

I started this cowboy outfit months ago and I finally got around to finishing it. I just got to busy with everything going on and sewing was not on my priority list. Since I had my sewing machine out to sew the young women bonnets I figured I should just finish it. It worked out great since Ryan loves to dress up with Kyrie and not in dresses anymore. He wants to wear his boy stuff. Thank goodness! I still have to get him a hat and his cowboy boots are a little small so I'm going to spray paint Kyrie's old ones so they aren't pink anymore.

Kyrie actually put this handkerchief on him and then surprised me. She had gone through his dress up and it's actually part of a train engineer costume but it works for both.

This week has been less crazy then weeks past. Luke is in the OB clinic and is usually home around 5 pm and it's so nice. The weather is so hot and humid so we spend a lot of time indoors but we still get out here and there. I finally started going to the gym everyday again. My body is still getting used to it but it feels good to exercise again and the kids love the child care they have there. The library is right across the street from the gym so we are there frequently as well. I still haven't been able to find the right books for Kyrie to read. We have started to work with her on reading but we need books with easy 3,4, & 5 letter words and they are hard to find. I usually just write one down and we sound it out. She is doing ok but gets frustrated if she doesn't get it right away, but that is her personality. She'll get it in the end.
