My parents visit

Yesterday we said goodbye to my parents and they flew back home to Utah. We hadn't seen them since Christmas and it was so nice to see them again. I took so many pictures and believe it or not this is the very condensed version of their trip. We were all spoiled to have them here and we loved every minute of it.
Here is my mom with the kids. And my dad with the kids.
We did lots of fun things while they were here, like:

- feeding the ducks and playing at the park
- played with sticks (a favorite of Ryan's)
- visited Gettysburg (my aunt lives 30 min. away from Gettysburg and got a personal tour guide for us) it was so fun
- colored lots of pictures
- my mom let Kyrie do her make-up (I liked the blue eye brows)
-went to the Philadelphia Zoo
- Kyrie got her face painted at the zoo (she wanted the pink puppy)
-saw the Liberty Bell and toured Independence Hall
(I caught Luke by surprise)

- had a famous Philly Cheesesteak (my dad wanted to try Pat's and Geno's so he ate at both) (my dad liked Pat's better and Luke liked Geno's)

- drove by Luke's school and the hospital he sometimes works at
We had so much fun visiting many places and spending time with my parents. It is always hard to say goodbye but we will look forward to next time we see them. We love you guys!

I've been waiting for this post! It is so fun to see all the fun things you guys got to do. I love the blue eye brows as well! Hillarious. Dad talked about how good the Geno's and Pat's Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were. You got some really great pictures. Wish I could have been there too! i'm so glad they were able to come out and see you guys.

Family visits are so great but it's hard when they have to leave. I'm starting to realize that we may be a drive away, but we're still far enough away that we won't be seeing family as often as I had hoped. Do you get to go home for the holidays this year?

It looks like you guys had so much fun! I love seeing your pictures. It makes me home sick for Philly and your family. :)
