These storms are starting to wear me out. Luckily all the snow missed us but the ice sure made a statement. At 4:00 am this morning our power went out. The ice was to much for the power lines and many people in our area lost power. It wasn't until 10:00 am when they got the lines repaired and electricity restored. Those 6 hours just got worse and worse. The temperature kept getting colder and colder and then Ryan started throwing up. It was a morning I would love to forget. The only good part about it was the cuddle time with the kids. Here is a couple pictures of the ice. This is how everything looked until it warmed up enough to melt some of it.
Ryan feels so sick and I feel bad that I can't do anything about it. As of right now he still can't keep anything down and just lies around looking aweful. Poor kid!
We did however get our first snowplow of the storm. Better late then never I guess.

Wow that only took them forever to plow! Poor Ryan! I sure hope he's feeling better today. Anita has put some video of ice storms on some FHE DVD's, and she shows a tree like the cool picture you took, and you can hear the ice cracking in the wind, and branches breaking because their frozen. Pretty cool...except when you have to go out in it.
