Kyrie was very excited for her birthday this year. Can you tell?
I made cupcakes to take to her preschool class. We decided on heart cupcakes since Valentine's Day is just around the corner.
She was so patient to wait for Luke to get home from work to open her presents. She opened her presents from Grandma and Grandpa Wayment while she was talking to them on the phone and then opened the rest. We had also done video cam with my mom and sister earlier in the day.
I can't ever get her to smile normal for pictures anymore. She always does something different.
I can't believe how fast time flies. Our little girl is already 5 years old. We had a party with just the 4 of us. She did ask once who else was coming, but I was able to distract her, since there isn't anyone else. We had a fun party with cake and ice-cream of her choice. All she wanted was a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Although, neither kid actually ate the cake, but they both finished off their ice-cream.
Thank you everyone for helping make her birthday a special one. She keeps saying that is was the best birthday ever!

Happy Birthday Kryie! It was soo good to talk to you and here on Skype yesterday for her birthday. That needs to become a regular thing. She is so stinkin' cute. I love how excited she was. Thanks for all the pictures! I would have loved to have been there!
That cake looks delicious! Kyrie's such a smart little girl. It's so hard waiting til everyone's home for presents. :) Poor Ryan. I can just imagine what it was like the day before.
