I think I may be more excited to have the cast off Kyrie's arm then she is. Trying to keep it dry for baths was a nightmare which made it more time consuming to get her clean. Also most of her clothes, including her coat, would not fit over the cast and her wardrobe was very limited. I am so thankful she only had to wear it for 3 weeks. It is very nice to have it off but her wrist is still very tender when she puts any weight on it and it still has some bruising from the bone break itself.
I tried to get a good picture of the bruising but couldn't get the lighting right for it to work.
Since most of her friends can't write, especially on the textured surface of the cast, Kyrie asked me to decorate it. She told me exactly what color, design, or words to write on the cast. She even got her teachers to sign it and some random dry cleaner lady (which I thought was very weird).

Yay the cast is off! It makes it hard when you only have a few options of clothing she can wear. Hope they can figure something out at the appt. I love Ryan's close up picture on his face. Such a cheeser!
Yay for being cast free! I bet that brings in a new kind of freedom. Good luck at the appointment. Let me know how it goes!
I'm glad the cast off, and that her appointment has finally arrived. I hope the doctor will be able to figure out what's going on.
