Crash and Splash

The splash part of this post is fun but the crash part, not so much. The kids and I were coming home from shopping on Friday and we were side swiped by another car. We were going straight through a green light and the other car was turning left at the same intersection. I guess she thought green means she can turn without looking because that is what she did. She slowed down like she was going to wait her turn and then as we were entering the intersection, she turned right into us. I think in the end it was more a damage to my nerves than to the car. I get nervous going through intersections more now than I did before. The 2 doors will have to be replaced but I think, that because our car is plastic, it kind of bounced the other car off it. She had a little more damage done to the front of her car. We are very thankful that nobody was hurt and that's what matters the most. It is more of an inconvenience than anything else.
Sorry but I couldn't seem to get a good picture of it.
The splash part is much cooler. Luke had one of has super long 24+ hour shifts yesterday to today, so we met some friends at the preschool where Kyrie attended, to play in the splash pad. I think it may be the first one they have been to and they both loved it.

It has been so hot here in Philly and any relief is nice, especially fun wet relief. Now that I know about this place I am sure we will be there often.

I'm so glad no one was hurt in that accident, and that they are going to pay to get your car fixed. Dumb woman! That splash pad looks awesome! Man, if we could just get some heat here we could do something like that.

I love splash pads! They're so much fun when it's super hot outside.

I am so glad that nobody was hurt. I found out about it on FB. You'll have to post before and after pictures. Haha. The kids looks so happy at the splash pad. I wish Josh would just try it once, I think he would be hooked.
