I have been a horrible blogger but I just haven't had much time. Life is busy and crazy as always, especially with Luke's schedule. I guess I will give a little update since it has been so long since I posted last.
Luke is busy as always working at the hospital. He just started some kind of ICU rotation at Abington Hospital just outside of Philadelphia last Monday. He is scheduled to work 6 days a week so he doesn't get much free time. He is getting closer to turning in applications for residencies and between his church calling and work he keeps plenty busy.
I have been very busy trying to get the girls ready for girls camp which happened this week. I wasn't able to go, with Luke not being able to get off, but it was still a lot of work. The girls all had a really good time and I am so excited it went so well. I also have been trying to find school clothes for Kyrie to start Kindergarten in a few weeks. They have uniforms and I have had a hard time finding pants small enough for her. I ordered one pair from a website the school recommended but they ended up being to big. So after much searching I finally found several pair at Osh'Kosh and that was a relief. It's been really weird getting my own child ready for school. It doesn't seem like enough time has passed and she should still be my baby. I also re-painted a couple walls in our living room and dining area. The 4-plex we are living in has flat paint on the walls and after 3 years some of them were starting to look dingy. They look great and I am glad it went so smoothly. A few of the things we have been up to lately include ...........
The kids' 6 month dentist check-up, complete with stickers, new toothbrushes, and a few prizes. The kids love going to the dentist and look forward to it every time.
Playing dress up. At least Ryan now chooses boy dress up.Got to love this handsome face!
The kids make beds on the floor almost everyday. For some reason they like to pretend to be sleeping on the floor or going camping.
Ryan is a very much all boy. I came into the room the other day to this sight. He had his hard hat on and was pretending to "fix" the floor with a drill.
He also pulls out every vehicle he owns when he wakes up in the morning and every time I try to put them away the are just back out 5 minutes later.
I wish we could put this girl in dance or tumbling because she is doing it most of the time anyway. At least 45 minutes of the day is literally spent on her head. She loves to be upside down for some reason. And as you can tell, she is still very dramatic.
Ryan is my little comedian. He is so funny to talk to and can be a goofball when he plays. In this video he is trying to ride one of his toy motorcycles.
Ryan speaks very well and picks up a lot of what Kyrie says. His potty training is going great and he hardly ever has accidents anymore. I can go on errands and not have to worry as much. Kyrie is still a mystery with her UTI's (urinary tract infection/bladder infection). She had been on an antibiotic for almost a year (minus 2 months in the middle) and we finally took her off it the end of June. Of course 1 month after that we end of back in the doctor with another one. I still haven't been able to get a hold of her Urologist about it yet. We should shall see what we can do in the near future. It has been a busy summer and I am actually excited for school to start in September. We have been going to the library regularly and it seems to help pass some time. Life is crazy but good as always. I have met some new friends that have moved into the ward and it is fun getting to know them.
I will try to be a little better at getting new posts on the blog, but I make no guarantees.

I can't believe she's already a Kindergartener! They're so adorable. I love seeing the new pictures. Where is Luke applying for residency?
I know you've been super crazy, but I have missed your posts! This one was great. I love all the pictures of your kids playing. And the video's were great. I love Kyrie's dancing. I think that motorcycle is a little small for Ryan ( : Good Luck to Luke, and you, during this next rotation! And Ya that girls camp is over!!!
