We are alive

It's been a long time since I posted anything on our blog. We have a few good reasons for that and I will be going into more detail in posts to come. In short, our 3 week vacation was extended a week and a half due to Luke's unexpected kidney stones 10 hours before our flight home. Then I have been playing catch up since we got home.

The main reason for this post is to show my family our new couch and chair. I am so excited to finally own new furniture that no one else has owned first. Being students our whole marriage has made it difficult to make those kind of purchases. We got such a good deal and we are really happy with them. They look nice and are super comfy.

This chair is actually called a chair and a half. It's quite large as you can see.
