Center city date

Yesterday Luke and I were able to go on a date into Center City Philly. The date into the city was Luke's idea but I wanted to take him to see Reading Terminal Market since he had never been there. In order to get the whole "experience" we road the train and subway all the way down (about 55 min. each way) instead of driving. All I can say is there are some crazy people that ride the Broad Street Subway. Wow! At least I can say I did it, because it's not something I desire to do again for awhile.

Of course we had to get our picture taken in front of the Love sign. After all, it is the city of brotherly love.

 I could breathe a sigh of relief as we got farther out of the city and most people had gotten off the subway. The train was much more comfortable and had far fewer crazy people.

 It was fun getting out without the kids and getting some yummy food. Thanks to the Smith family for watching them for us.
