We were so lucky the weather cooperated with us this year and we were still able to go out trick or treating. Some of the cities north of us had to postpone their Halloween activities due to hurricane Sandy. Our friends, the Smiths, came trick or treating with us again this year. It always makes it more fun for the kids to have friends come along.
Batman: Carter, Ironman: Mason, Army guy: Ryan, Princess: Kyrie
It was still on the chilly side but not quite as cold as we thought it would be.Since the kids were out of school Monday and Tuesday because of the storm, we decided to use one of the days to carve pumpkins.
This first pumpkin was designed by Kyrie. She sketched it on paper and then Luke carved it.
Ryan and I thought Ironman would be fun this year. I didn't anticipate it taking so long to carve. Therefore I didn't get around to carving mine.
This was Luke's pumpkin this year.

Awesome pumpkins! And the kids did make a haul didn't they? I am glad my kids didn't end up with that much candy. We are already hiding what we have so they are aren't hyped up on sugar for days. LOL!
I really like that Iron man pumpkin! Tons of candy! I thought we made a good little haul for how long (or short!) we trick or treated, but you guys totally won. I love Kyrie's hair! Great job! So glad you guys were still able to go out with Sandy on the move out there...
