A few days before Easter we got together with our friends, the Smith family, and had an egg hunt. It turned out to be pretty windy and chilly but the kids still had tons of fun.
Left to right: Kyrie, Mason, Carter, and Ryan.
If you look in the background of this picture you can see the torn up ground. When we got to the park we found out that they had torn out all the toys and sandbox. We hope they put a new one in since that was our favorite park. Bently and Brielle stayed nice and warm in their car seats. Bently is only 3 months older than Brielle.
Then Friday we colored eggs with the kids. It's always a big hit at our house and we always color more than we can eat.
Brielle just watched us from her bouncy seat.
Easter Bunny Day!
The Easter bunny came and visited our house on Friday night and the kids woke up nice and early Saturday morning. They had fun finding their baskets and some more plastic eggs.
Our ward had a fun Easter Party Saturday. They had an Easter egg hunt, told stories about Jesus, had a fun craft for the kids, and put together a yummy pot luck lunch.
The weather was so nice we had to get out and enjoy some fresh air. They re-built a park next to Kyrie's school and it just opened recently.
We signed Ryan up to start T-ball in a couple of weeks. He has never played any kind of sports before, so we took him to the park to show him how to play.
He did such a good job considering it was his first time ever hitting the ball. Of course, it will be standing still when he actually plays.
It was a busy but very fun Easter weekend. I loved having spring break the week before so we had more time to have Easter fun.
