Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day this year! The Friday before I had a Mother's Day activity at both of the older kids' schools. Kyrie had "Muffins with Mom" Friday morning before school and Ryan had "Tea with mom" in the afternoon. Both kids were very excited that I got to spend some special time with each of them. At Kyrie's school we just had muffins and milk and socialized for a half hour or so. It was nice to see her interacting with friends and having a good time.

Later that day it was time to go to Ryan's preschool for his Mother's Day Tea. As we walked into the classroom the kids brought their moms each a rose and showed us to our seats. This picture is of our table setting. It was so darling!

Then each child took turns pouring our tea (which I politely declined) and bringing us strawberries and cookies.

It was such a super fun program! I love this boy! 

Then on Mother's Day morning Luke made me French toast for breakfast. Sunday mornings are always super crazy trying to get to church on time but it didn't feel as crazy with some of my usual work load gone. Luke also made the other meals and helped with the kids as much as he could. He even took them on a nice Sunday walk so I could have some peace and quiet. Have I ever said that I have the best husband and kids in the world! I sure love them!
