Today we took our last trip to the shore before we move next week. The temperature was only in the low 70's and the water was really cold (around 56*) but it was still a fun shore day. Brielle did pretty well for how young she is, and we lasted 4 hours which I would call a success.
Ryan found lots of large sea shells and most of them managed to make it home.
This is a typical Kyrie pose.
You can tell they have done some repair work on the beaches from hurricane Sandy. There is a different slope on the shore this year as well as little pieces of debris in some areas.
This visit we were very lucky and were able to see a few dolphins swimming back and forth.
This is actually how we got the idea for Brielle's name. We were driving to the shore last year while I was pregnant and we saw the town named Brielle, and liked it.
This is some of the newly rebuilt boardwalk that was destroyed during hurricane Sandy.

We will miss being able to go play at the beach but we are thankful for the memories we've had.
