Happy Birthday to me!
Last Sunday was my birthday. It was a difficult weekend to be sure. Saturday I went to a community yard sale at a nearby church. I must have missed when I went to put my wallet back into my bag because later in the day we realized it was missing. I went back to the church but everything was already cleaned up. Of course we called and cancelled our credit cards but I was so upset about everything else that was in there. Then the next day Luke tried so hard to make my birthday special. He got someone to go to his morning meeting so he could be home and he helped the kids make cute birthday cards. I even got to sleep in 2 days in a row! Then I got to open cards and presents that I got in the mail. Unfortunately, before we could make the cake the oven broke. Luke took it apart to try to get it to work but we aren't repair men. I had a meeting for Young Women's that night and came home to a freshly baked cake!! Miraculously the oven worked that one time and hasn't since. The landlords are actually going to buy a new one soon but my cake was our first miracle. The second was a pastor called us at 10:30 pm Monday night and said he had my wallet. Someone had given it to him and it was completely untouched. We still cancelled cards and got new ones coming but the relief of having it back is indescribable. So my birthday was really stressful and upsetting in some ways but everything turned out in the end. It was definalty a trial of faith and I can say I am stronger because of it. I don't wish to have a repeat but I am glad for these little reminders to stay close to the Lord.

I am so sorry your birthday wasn't the best. When it rains it pours. I was so happy to hear your wallet came back though! Must have been the hugest sigh of relief. And the oven working for your cake is another miracle.
Now if your phone could have just worked, huh? I didn't know about your phone. I was calling and leaving messages wondering why you weren't calling me back. So now I know! Love you and miss you!
I am sooo glad that you have your wallet back! Yay for not having to get a new Driver's license. Among other things. I'm also glad that Luke was able to bake you a cake. Everyone needs a cake on their birthday. I'm sorry it was such a hard weekend though. I really hope you have a great Mother's day to make up for it. And I'm glad you were still able to have a little party and recieve some gifts.
You got your wallet back!! That is WONDERFUL news! I am so glad that the Pastor got it and you are reunited. I know how horribly stressful that can be. Happy Birthday! I am so grateful that your family made such a cute party for you. The kids are so cute helping open your gifts. I just love them!
Happy Birthday Amy!!! We need to all go out for lunch for you and Sierra's birthday to celebrate!
Wow! Sounds like quite the birthday to remember! Happy Birthday! Hopefully the next one will be a little more stress-free.
