Yesterday was Kyrie's school trip to Solly Brother's farm. I am actually glad that it's over since I haven't got her to stop talking about it since she learned she was going. She got to ride the bus with the other kids and Ryan and I followed the bus in our car. It was her first time on a bus and she LOVED it. Once we were there, they had to wait for other classes to go on the hay ride, and what is better than watching the chickens while you wait?
She insisted on wearing her shirt she got from school.

Ryan had to sit up front so he could see the tractor. What can I say, the kid is obsessed with anything with wheels.

They learned about a number of things including different types of squash, bee's pollinating, how they clean the crops, and etc. Kyrie and Ryan are sitting in the back of both the classes. Of course Ryan didn't sit much and ran around the back.
They asked a few kids at a time to come up and close their eyes and eat a healthy food. For Kyrie it was a carrot and it was the funniest reaction ever. I didn't know she hated carrots that bad. (notice how small she is to the other girls in her class)
She eventually ended spitting it out, but it was very entertaining for all the adults there.
Luke had to work but he didn't miss out to much because I brought home fresh farm apple cider and jam. So yummy!

I love fresh apple cider! That farm looks like a lot of fun. I'm so glad her UTIs seem to be under control. I hate it when Lizzie gets them.
I love that picture of Kyrie with the carrot in her mouth. Nice! What a fun fieldtrip. I love the Ryan could go too. Parker talks about school buses all the time. I bet he would love something like that. Does Luke like the Family Practice? Go for free time for you!!
