Every week at Kyrie's preschool there is a new student of the week, and this week was Kyrie's turn. She gets to be the special helper at school and sit in a special seat. They even get to bring home this princess suitcase which they fill with whatever they want to show the class at rug time. They make a big deal about it and the kids get so excited. She didn't get to do as much as the other kids since Wednesday was a snow day and today was a field trip, but she played with the suitcase a lot at home and I think in the end she won't even care.
Kyrie and Ryan are big into putting on "shows" on Kyrie's bed. They can be anything from them jumping up and down to singing and dancing. The possibilities are endless. The other day they asked me to come in to see their show and I walked into this. Kyrie had put all of their stuffed animals and dolls neatly in rows all facing the "audience." Then her and Ryan sat on the bed the same way and just smiled. I couldn't help but smile at her way of playing. Don't mind Ryan's hair, he has since got a haircut.

Yay you figured it out! I love the bigger pictures!!! I love the shows. I'm actually awaiting the day when Parker's imagination takes off more. Cute kids! Love the special suitcase. Hopefully the boy student's is more boyish ( :
The bookshelf looks so great! I love how you decorated it. The bowling was probably so funny. I think for really little kids they should have bumpers that go all the way. :) I never heard of a suitcase for student of the week. I'm sure the kids absolutely love it though!
I love watching little ones and their imaginative play! It reminds me of the way I played when I was little too. Hope you guys are doing well. Are you still in YW? Do you still have the same counselors helping you? I am now the sunbeams teacher in our ward here. Happy New Year!
