This year we had a laid back 4th of July weekend. Luke had to work Saturday and again on Monday the 4th so we couldn't really plan anything. I did do a craft with the kids and made some yummy fried chicken and corn on the cob for dinner. We also got a few fireworks to fire off with the kids. I didn't know how Ryan would react to them since he seems to be scared of everything, but he did fine and they both really enjoyed them.
Kyrie wanted her toenails painted to match her shirt. I didn't have white polish but silver was a good substitute. They acted like they had never seen a fountain firework before. It made me wish I would have bought more.
Luke helped Kyrie light one of the fireworks. She may even grow up to be a pyro like her parents.
Happy 4th of July everyone!!

I love how excited they were over everything on the video clip! Cute kids! What a fun fourth of July, even without doing much ( :
I got the same T-shirts for our family! You are so cool! Even 2 thousand miles away we are still in sync. :)
