Ryan's 4 year old Stats

Ryan had his 4 year old check up on Monday and I was very curious how big he is. He weighs 29 lbs. and is exactly 3 feet tall. That puts him in the 3rd percentile for both height and weight. Kyrie is also in the 3rd percentile in both. What can I say..... I have very small kids. The doctor Ryan saw was fairly new to the clinic but she thought maybe he should see a Geneticist too. A few weeks ago an Orthopedist said the same thing about Kyrie. They saw how short Luke and I are so I don't see what the problem is. I know that they are small even for small kids but they are healthy and happy so I doubt we are going to do anything about it right now. Moving on... Ryan is such a fun kid!      Here are just a few things about him:
       - He is such an angel when I take him to run errands (I'm spoiled I know)
       - He is really starting to get into sports now. Especially baseball and football. He is constantly asking
         Luke to play with him.
       - He loves to fix/build things and I can often find him in a hard hat or tool belt among other things.
       - "Rescue machines" as he calls them are still his favorite things. They include anything from fire engines
to cement trucks to garbage trucks. To him many different types of vehicles can save someone.
       - He is a picky eater and meal times are a battle.
       - Sand and dirt are his best friend. He is in heaven with some dirt and tractors.
       - I think he knows more songs now than Kyrie, especially church songs.
       - He is starting to ask more often when he gets to go to school. I have him signed up for pre-k
this fall and he can't wait. I think he is getting bored with just me all day.
       - He is such a sweet little boy and will often tell me he loves me.

He is a small little thing! We all knew you two would have small kids though ( : He is such a cutie! I love those pictures. I miss him-give him a hug for me. You should try to get him to sing more songs and put them on your blog ( :

LOL, that reminds me of a friend who's pediatrician freaked out that her daughter would probably only be about 5'1"! ...exactly the height of my friend. there are definitely more important things to worry about. :)
He is so adorable!
