Preschool Pumpkin Patch Trip

Last Friday was Ryan's preschool trip to the pumpkin patch. Kyrie had the same trip when she was in preschool 2 years ago and I remember her loving it. The weather was a little on the chilly side but with a warm jacket and hat it didn't slow the kids down at all. They started out the farm experience with a hay ride pulled by a tractor. Of course that was Ryan's favorite part of the trip. He had to sit up right in the front so he could see the tractor pulling the trailers.

They also had a few different mini lessons on eating fruits & veggies, how the bees help the farm, how they wash the apples to get them ready for apple cider, and what they grow on the farm.
Besides the crazy school bus driver, the trip turned out to be a success. The kids did get to pick a pumpkin out of the field but Ryan picked his so fast I forgot to take a picture. The pumpkins have since been painted and sit beautifully on the table for everyone to see.

I remember when Kyrie did her trip! I can't believe it's been two years already.. and that Ryan is old enough to do it now too!!! He looked so happy! I think my kids would have loved that too.
