Our ward had their yearly primary program a couple weeks ago and this year Kyrie had a solo. When she was asked to sing the second verse of I'm trying to be like Jesus by herself I thought they were crazy. I honestly didn't think she would do it. We practiced lots and in the end she made everyone cry with the sweet spirit she brought to the meeting.
This video was taken at the practice on Saturday. All the kids had been there for awhile so they are a bit "done" as you can see. The program was wonderful and I am thankful for all the work that went into planning and preparing for it.

I am SOOO glad you got this on video! It melted my heart and gave me chills. She did SOOO goood! Give her a big hug and tell her great job for me! I love it!
That was one of the sweetest things I've ever seen. What a cute thing. Made me miss Pennypack too.
AWWW... I may or may not have gotten tears watching that. I am so proud of her. She did awesome... didn't even look nervous! She really is such a sweet spirit! Tell her great job from me too!

LOL! I'm still crazy! :oD I love how Ryan was just laying on the front stand. Really though, you should make sure she takes choir. She has a very special spirit and I'm so glad she sang that solo this year. This video is a GEM!!!
