The Lorax
One of the fundraisers from Kyrie's school last year raised money for a composer to come to the school and work with some of the kids. This year the kindergarten and first grade benefited from it. They gave the composer a story line and he wrote the lyrics and composed the music.Then the music teacher worked with the kids to learn it. On Friday, the students performed the songs for the parents. You could tell that the kids worked really hard and it showed in their performance. The first graders song was the story of The Lorax. Not going to lie, I've come back and watched this like 3 times now, it's so cute. I was impressed that all the kids actually knew and sang all the words. That was a long song to learn! Any chance of getting video of Kyrie singing it alone at home? Go Kyrie! She looked really cute too!
